Morris Hall To Sponsor the Lawrenceville Main Street Winter Market

We here at Lawrenceville Main Street are sticklers for proper usage, and so we can’t call our upcoming event the “first annual Winter Market.” Technically, we have to wait until next year’s event to go and use that pesky “annual” word, but … well you know what? We’re feeling frisky, and so yes, we’re all very much looking forward to the First Annual Lawrenceville Main Street Winter Market on December 15 from noon until 3 p.m. Getting it off the ground would have been a lot harder if it weren’t for the generous help from Morris Hall Senior Care Communities, along with our other sponsors and vendors. “Morris Hall Senior Care Communities have been serving the community for close to 115 years, and we are pleased to partner with Lawrenceville Main Street to make the Winter Market possible,” said Lisa Thomas, who serves as marketing director for Morris Hall. “We hope that everyone enjoys the experience!” Which the community no doubt will, with over 50 artists, crafters, and vendors plus free visits with Santa, music, food, and plenty of merry to go around. It’s also a chance to get to know Lisa Thomas, who is new to our community, and to find out more about Morris Hall Senior Care Communities. “We consist of three communities,” Thomas told us. “St. Mary’s Assisted Living and Grace Garden Memory Care, St. Joseph’s Skilled Nursing Center, and Morris Hall Meadows.” Morris Hall Meadows - located directly across Main Street on Franklin Corner Road - is the group’s newest concept on Long Term Care, and it is a offers a refreshing, contemporary approach to nursing home living. Based on THE GREEN HOUSE model of a real home, meaningful life, and empowered staff, each resident has their own bed and bath suite, along with common areas for the kitchen, dining room, and the spacious hearth rooms. “It’s a very unique concept in long-term care,” Thomas said. Thomas also said Morris Hall is thrilled to work with the local community, having just partnered with Homefront for an area coat drive. “It is important to us to be part of the community, and we look forward to meeting people at the event,” said Thomas. Morris Hall and Main Street are also planning an event in February that would bring area children to Morris Hall for an arts and crafts extravaganza with the residents.
