The Importance of Giving Back, with John Noto of Noto Insurance Advisors
John Noto opened Noto Insurance Advisors 12 years ago in Princeton before moving to the corner of Main Street and Gordon Avenue in 2010. “Lawrenceville is a close knit community with a small town feel. I always have a warm feeling when I drive through the town. It is a well-known area,” explains Noto, adding his clients already knew how to find him, which made the transition smooth.
Noto has been in the insurance industry since 1995. He helps clients with their home and auto insurance needs, but his real passion is life insurance and long term care insurance. “You need to protect your most valuable asset…YOU. Most people have life insurance policies through their employers. What they don't realize is if they go on long-term disability for over 90 days and should pass away, their family often will not collect their death benefits". Noto works with individuals and couples to determine the best plan for their needs and to ensure that they cover the greatest asset risks. A new direction for Noto Insurance Advisors is small business insurance, including business owners policies, business property insurance, employee benefits, and additional products to help protect a small business, its owners, and its employees.
Noto’s strongest passion is giving back to the community through donations to small, local charities, the “kind where a few hundred to a few thousand dollars really goes a long way.” Every 60-90 days, Noto Insurance Advisors finds a new charitable cause to support. Their most recent recipient is The Bag Project, which helps children transition into new foster homes. Often, children have to move quickly and have to leave behind many or all of their possessions. The Bag Project’s mission “is to provide every child in crisis with a high-quality bag filled with age and gender appropriate basic necessities and comfort items they may not otherwise receive and, hopefully, lessen the effects of a traumatic experience". Other recent charities that Noto Insurance Advisors have become involved with include EASEL (a no-kill animal shelter in Ewing), the Jordan Sprague Freedom to Live Gala (working to reduce suicide), the AR Foundation (sending local athletes to college), and Hope Loves Company (providing support to children with parents or grandparents with ALS). Their complete list of Community Causes can be viewed here.
Noto Insurance Advisors donates $10 to a charitable cause for every client referral they receive, whether the referral purchases a policy or not. They are located at 2681 Main Street in Lawrenceville or on the web at http://notoinsuranceadvisors.com/
