We look forward without forgetting our rich heritage or compromising the integrity of our past. Our history is tightly woven with the American Revolution, farms and fields, The Lawrenceville School and residents who have raised families here for generations. Our present is full of small town appeal. Our future includes you. Visit us, Lawrenceville Main Street, and experience our hospitality.

Lawrenceville Main Street Inc. was created in 1996 by residents and The Lawrenceville School to foster economic vitality in the Village of Lawrenceville, NJ. Unlike many main street programs, LMS is a direct outgrowth of the community spirit that continues today.

Today, Lawrenceville is a lively destination for commerce, welcoming new businesses and entrepreneurs. Located strategically between Trenton and Princeton, accessible by Intestate 95 and Route 1, Lawrenceville offers convenience, small town appeal and opportunities to prosper.

Lawrenceville Main Street is a comprehensive downtown revitalization program based on the National Trust for Historic Preservation’s National Main Street Center which developed the Main Street Four-Point Approach to downtown revitalization. This approach focuses on promotions, organization, economic development and design.

Working with businesses, local government, schools, individuals and volunteers we strive to strengthen the economic potential of Lawrenceville, NJ.

We are a pocket of welcoming charm. A place where shops and restaurants line Main Street, folks gather in the park to listen to music on summer nights and the smell of fresh baked goods waft through the air.
