Lawrenceville Main Street will hold its annual Information Night for new and interested volunteers.

The purpose of the event is to familiarize new and potential volunteers with the group's activities, which are focused on the revitalization of the Village of Lawrenceville. All interested residents of Lawrenceville and surrounding communities are invited to attend; refreshments will be served.

FALL Clean-Up Day
November 7, 2010 Time: NOON - 3:00 PM Place: Main Street Office at 17 Phillips Ave

Come on out for an invigorating and satisfying afternoon as the community joins forces with the Main Street Landscape Committee to clean-up the Village after the ravages of October. The cleanup covers the area from Weeden Park to Gordon Avenue along route 206 and in the parking areas behind Village shops. The Lawrenceville School provides rakes, a wheelbarrow and a truck, which transports the leaves to a compost pile that is later used to provide mulch for Weeden Park.

Invite your friends and neighbors to join us in this community-pride activity; you may come for all or part of the time.

Volunteers interested in helping should meet at noon at the Main Street Office (17 Philips Avenue). If you have gloves, rakes, clippers, etc. feel free to bring them along.

Donate 30 minutes of your time. Join Lawrenceville Main Street’s Landscape Committee in sprucing up the village. Bring a rake, gloves, broom, wheelbarrow, your friends and meet us in the Village to do our “Spring Clean Sweep” from Weeden Park to Gordon Avenue. Choose your 30 minutes or stay longer if you like. When you get here, look for other volunteers & join in. Volunteers should meet at the Main Street Office (17 Philips Avenue).
