The Main Street Artists Network features a select variety of skilled artists. Participating artists and their offerings may change. Listed alphabetically.

Marysia Bohrer. Marysia studied visual communication at Kean University. She began clay studies under the tutelage of Beatrice Landolt and Kathleen Preziosi. Marysia feels the clay dictates the direction of her pieces and that each piece retains a relationship to the earth.

Carol Critchlow. A New Jersey native, Carol graduated with University Honors in Fine Arts Painting from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She is known for her portraits and murals as well as still lifes and various commissioned works. She has taught painting and drawing at Mercer County Community College and Artworks.

Bill Felder. A Lawrenceville resident, he likes to take pictures of everyday scenes which are typically places close to home but sometimes far away locales. Places and views that are ordinary and that we often pass by without a second glance often reveal secret beauty and great interest when we can look at them in the “right light” or in detail.

Evelyn Hamilton. The natural world, organic shapes, and functionality currently inform her work. Accurate sundials were the first thing she worked toward, then musical flutes. The bowls and vases and plates came next, her current focus, along with playing with texture, and painted design. She love commissions, as they are usually exacting and exciting both at the same time.

Judith Hummer. Judy started painting in watercolor over 12 years ago and since that time has consistently studied under award-winning artist, Ruth Wilson. An active associate member of the Garden State Watercolor Society, Judy recently received an honorable mention in the GSWS juried Exhibition. Judy is also an associate member of the New Jersey Watercolor Society. In 2008 she won an award of excellence in the NJWS Associate Member’s show, and was recently juried into their 2010 Open Show. Over the years Judy has displayed her work in numerous juried and group shows. In addition she teach a watercolor class every week to Seniors at a Bridgewater Senior Center. She will be teaching Summer Camp classes for age 6-12 at the Artists’ Network Gallery starting in June.

Jean R. Joslin. An artist and an art therapist, Jean works with a variety of media: drawing, watercolors, collage, and is is currently focusing on oil paintings trying to capture, light, color and expression in her landscapes and images. As an art therapist, Jean counsels individuals and facilitates groups helping people use the art materials to express feelings and build connection.

Roseanne Kanter. She came to Lawrenceville 20 years ago, and is a first grade teacher in the Princeton public school system. She has studied with Micheal Madigan. She works in gouache, acrylic and paper.

Bill McCarroll. He does watercolor landscapes.These include pastoral and village scenes, pictures at the waters edge, scenes from time spent in France, particularly Normandie, and pictures drawn from countryside along the marshes of Delaware Bay.

Margaret Miller. After spending many years raising a family and being an integral part of a family business, Margaret, “Marge,” now follows her own direction in pursuing a lifelong passion in creating art. She recently spent two years training in the classical tradition with Bucks County artist, John Scott Murdoch. With a comfort in portraiture work, Margaret has captured the true character in her subjects. Wanting to expand her skills, she has studied with well-known artist, Sam D’Ambruoso in Italy in places like the Amalfi Coast and Sicily and has learned to capture the beauty of the landscape. A future trip to Florence is also planned with renowned portraitist, Laurel Stern Boeck. The Artist Network is the next step for Margaret, who is excited to see what the future may hold for her.

Tamera Morheim. Tamara's former career included years spent as an art director and/or contributing product designer for companies such as: Lenox, Kate Spade, Tiffany & Co., Waterford/Wedgewood, Williams-Sonoma and Target to name a few. After dusting off an ancient sewing machine and creating some holiday monster dolls for family and friends, our home was soon over run by lovable quirky monsters and Buttonhedz was born. Buttonhedz is committed to reduce, reuse and recycle. The concept at the core of all our products is to breathe life into discarded items. By definition, each item is unique. It is a rebellion against the disposable nature of our consumer products.

Kim Moulder. Also a graphic designer, her painting portrays the energy of what she sees with brilliant color and lively relationship of form. The results are a function of process as well as inspiration. Intense color in her work is achieved by the layering and glazing of staining pigments. Lively fluidity of form emerges from the nature of the watercolor medium itself. She is currently exploring assemblage projects with found objects, paper and fabric, as well as fiber-art, and collage.

Christina Peckham. As both a painter and a graphic designer, she enjoys interpreting nature by blending the simplicity of design with the intensity of color that painting allows. Her focus on painting has flourished since establishing her art studio in Lawrenceville.

Ruthann Perry. She is a sculptor currently working in wood and found object Assemblage sculpture, including recovered architectural details and foundry molds. Most recently, horses have been her primary subject, although she has also created sculptural landscapes. She is also an art teacher, and her works have been displayed locally and nationally.

Teresa Prashad. Teresa Prashad is a talented woman who continuously believes in hard work and aesthetic creative expression. She likes to paint display pots, draperies, design and paint on silk fabric and make room dividers, and performs distinctive interior decorating designs.
